So probably one of the final snowfalls of the year and I manage to slip with the ice scraper and hit the trim, black plastic right below the drivers side window. Can I replace this? Will it be difficult? Expensive?
What is the proper part that I even need? Has anyone else have this happen?

its not hard to replace. it just slides in from the end of the door (assuming you have a 04-09 model, not sure about 10+)

I had to replace this part before after I was involved in a hit and run. It was a little over $20 and took all of 30 seconds to replace.

Yup. I replaced mine. The only real hard part was getting the old one off without damaging the paint....

Confirmed with the dealer, its about $25 dollars. They are ordering one for me and they are going to slap it on for me as well when my car is in for the rust repair in a few days. One problem fixed but on my way over I noticed some paint missing from the passenger side door handle. Maybe someone dinged me... gonna try and break out the paint pen and hope to touch it up.
What a pain in the ass, always something it seems
