Clearbra Thickness?

I just bought some clearbra off ebay for very cheap and it was a 2mil product.
The question i have is whether or not 2mill is good enough or should i get the 8mil.
The 8mil material is 200 bucks for bumper and half the hood while i only spent like 60 bucks for the hood, bumper and the headlights.

Any input would be great
