I know there are quite a few members on TM3 from the London area.

My buddy and I are heading to the Briers on Sunday, taking in the Bronze Medal and the championship game so we'll be there for the entire day.

Just looking for suggestions on restaurants near the John Labatt center. Something reasonably priced and not fast food. I'm not overly picky about the type of cuisine, so any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks TM3!

Ale House is pretty good as is the Honest Lawyer. There's also a Crabby Joes. All are along Dundas just east of the JLC.

there's Ben Thanh which is Thai about half a block away..there's a burger place called JD's across the street, usually its packed though when ever there's something happening at the JLC.

the two places Mr.Wilson suggested are also good. Also solid Golds isn't bad if you're looking for some other entertainment

An awesome greasy spoon called Prince Alberts, on Richmond Row - north Richmond St on west side. I'm pretty sure they are still open. Hole in the wall on the corner with a side street (north west corner). Get the Wally Burger. A hamburger loaded with peanut butter. I tried one and damn, I make them every now and again at home. Awesome milk shakes, you can create your own flavour. Not much to look at, size of a JLC washroom, maybe smaller, but if you want to give your heart a work out and like greasy spoons this is a damn good place to go!! Maybe two to three K from the JLC.

^Haha, Prince Al's my fav place to eat in London even though it's greasy as hell.

Hit up JD's if you don't want to travel too far from JLC

The market might even be open. There's everything and anything in there. It's directly across the street with the big sign that says Convenant Garden Market.
