Just wondering what programs you use to download Mp3's ?
I'm currently using Frostwire right now and it's pretty inconsistent.... any other programs out there that are more consistent?
thanks.

How about just get your music in iTunes?
Do the right thing and support your artists :)

You know that an artist barely gets anything out of it right?

If you want to support them, go to a concert, and buy merchandice AT the concert not in some store.
I use Vuze to download torrents. I useually download the whole discography if I like them enough.

I agree with concerts. But, if artists are already getting such a small piece of the pie, I don't think this helps either

I find it easier to just go to Sonic Boom and buy all my albums, heck of a lot less viruses and bad quality stuff that way lol

-Usenet for full albums/discography's (usually just get hte whole discography now)
-isohunt for individual songs
-I am also part of a huge hamachi network that has tons of media shared.
My dad has been a DJ for 30+ years, and i'm sure has spent way more than >$100,000 on vinyl/cassette/disc's (he has 1 book from ERG with about 30 cd's that cost him over 5grand :|), he was a memeber of ERG forever ($70 a cd :|)
I also have friends that are artist, and say the worst thing they can do is sign with a label cause their profits drop huge.
For new releases I use

http://sceper.eu/
and feed the rss it into google reader.

the music chain i used to work for just closed all their Manitoba stores, crazy how the decline of music sales works.
i dunno i used to buy everything on 12" but since usb HU's and Serato i've gone digital but i don't like iTunes at all so i usualy go to smaller independent or record label sites that sell music instead or just the usual place si bought vinyl from now that have converted to mp3
