Mazda HQ photo practice meet...

So a bunch of us: White Phil(black 3), Black Phil(silver 3), Claudio(rx8) met up at Mazda Hq for a practice photo meet. White Phil got a new camera so we took some shoots of each other cars and what not.
I had my first crack at rolling shots which turned out great. A street rolling shot would make a better picture than the building lot we were in, but whatevs it was for crap and giggles.

is that Mazda canadas head office? looks different for some reason. i know there is a parts warehouse in mississauga and toronto somewhere. but i havent been there in ages. pics looking good!

^^ it was a last mintue thing broo. next time we do this the weather will be minimum 15 degrees, i could only hand out a window for soo long a t 40km/h

And damn you phil looks like im gona be buying photoshop when i start work. i cant get over how much better the photos look with a little modifying.
Hopefully claudio finds this thread. no way im loading my photos on facebook they get wayyy to grainy.

I can really exaggerate and make it really pop by sharpening the shadows/highlight/midtones. but i think this is just fine...

I hate photoshop sometimes.. theres so many possibilities that i can not decide which i like best.. lol im gonna read up on professional photo touchups on ps

I still dislike your ability to make the photo better. I have always wanted photoshop but been to broke to spend the $$ on it. Btw i used your photo in the cobalt car of the month. if i win in winter mode that will be epic.

So i just downloaded Photoscape. its a free editing software, seems pretty good. i can now load raw files to jpegs.
Was messin around with the contrast to get that wet black look. this i did ok. the photo gets a little noiser but not noticable unless zoomed in on.

what camera are you using? i have an XSi myself, and my shots never come out that crisp and clean

Joe take a look at adobe lightroom 3. Amazing program for photographers. Kinda like aperture 3 from apple but better.

+1 also if you aren't shooting in raw yet, that also helps save some shots that wouldn't have come out well in jpeg after editting
