Has anyone here had to replace their rear bump stops? I just called one of the mazda dealerships and they stated that I needed to purchase a whole new shock. Does Mazda even make them or do I need to go aftermarket? Thanks!

Hey Jon are you sure it's the bump stop that's needed?
Only piece available separate is the mount, and it's aftermarket ($50).

Thats what Jimmy said I needed when he checked by shocks at the rear. Almost looked like foam and was falling apart.

Is that just the rear you can't get separately? I thought I was able to get replacement bump stops before..maybe that was for the front..

Did some further research and it seems that some Mazda dealerships in the US sell them. Should I order from them directly or will a local dealership be able to order them for me?

If Joe can't get them in, just order them from the US.

I may be in the market for some bump stops.
Jon, where did you get your used set?
Is there any place online that ships internationally?

One more question.
Is there an easy way to determine the condition of the bump stops? I wouldn't want to buy something i don't really need at the moment.
