A game where you have a virtually unlimited world with oceans, islands, landmasses, trees, etc and the ability to build just about anything your imagination dictates, think of it as a super sandbox world. See my sig? That's level 1 of my floating sky palace still under construction, it literally blots out the sun at this point. But you can build houses on the ground, underground living spaces, a dock for your boat, remake a desert island into a tropical paradise, make railway system for fast travel, build a cathedral.... it's just crazy.

That's not technically a rail cannon... but interesting none the less.

I'm planning to make a short YouTube video just to show off my little corner in this world. Would give people a better idea of why Minecraft is so damned addicting. (I'm no stranger to fast paced FPS or high end graphics, but Minecraft has a hold over me <3 )

You're right, it still uses chemical propellant (TNT) but there are rails, and it shoots livestock out at ludicrous speed.

My ex boyfriend's brother built an infinite dome... and inside was a lake and marshland esque habitat... was quite amazing.

Elusivellama, did you purchase this game? I played this earlier last year, is it still in beta stage?

Yeah, it's only $20 but it's so damned fun. Still beta, and there are some bugs you encounter now and then, but if it was really super buggy, I'd never have been able to build my palace with virtually no interruptions. Which, btw, is now walled and roofed with a glass canopy for the fountain.

So, we have PS3s and Xbox360s in almost every household...yet you obsess over 1990s-style graphics? I don't get it.
