Apparently, they say they are best sellers in their home country of UK. Anyone try their stuff?

I was thinking of getting their Vinyl and Rubber Care, mainly for dressing tires.

I already have another interior spray to finish off before using this one, so this will be for mainly tires.

IMO they want way to much money for their products

their products are very good. The custom wheel cleaner is one of my favourites, I buy it in 25L jugs. Super Resin polish isn't bad and the instant tire dressing is good. the rapid detailer is also a great product. They don't sell it at CT but fast glass is one of the best on the market.

I've used the Super Resin polish on my wife's car. It does a great job of filling in the swirls.

Last summer there was a sale on these products at CT. I picked up the Custom Tire Cleaner and the Vinyl and Rubber Care.

The tire cleaner was so-so, I still had to scrub the dirt off the rims and tires, so I might as well just use soap and water.

The vinyl and rubber care spray is good. I spray it onto a cloth then rub it onto the dash, door trims, and all the plastic parts in the car. For me, the shine is nice a deep and has lasted about 3 months each time.

the rim cleaner needs agitation, it's not like an acid.

Same. I tried out the shampoo last week. It`s crazy though, for that little packet of shampoo, they suggest using 2 gallons of water with it (that is fricking 9L of water). I just put in 1 imperial gallon, and even then I felt it was rather diluted.

Was the end result any different than every other car wash product on the market? :P

I washed my car today, and noticed a lot of brake dust and other black spots.

Decided to try out the Autoglym Super Resin Polish (SRP). Hot damn. The brake dust never had a prayer. SRP steamrolled over them mofos like a tank over marshmellows. So why do people claybar their cars again? LoL. Autoglym Super Resin Polish FTMFW. Booyah.

i think you may be confused.

Claybar is for a completely bare "clean" surface to remove dirt we cant really see.

Polish is for POLISHING swirls and whatnot.getting the surface ready for wax or sealant.

Two different products for two different uses :)

The classic car crowd in the UK swear by Autoglym products. All of their products have been around for many years. As for cost it is competitive with any of the high end detailing products on the market.
If you compare it with crap like Turtle wax and such then you would consider it expensive. You usually get what you pay for, besides how often do you have to buy Polish and wax, maybe every 3 or 4 years.

was at CT today and they sell Autoglym, not sure if they sold it before, first time I have seen it on their shelves. Might have just missed it before?

I just saw it for the first time too and i used to go there every week. In fact, this week they have a full page spread of all their products in their flyer.

I used my free 'shampoo/conditioner' finally, and it didn't seem to be anything special, so i certainly woulnd't pay EXTRA money for it. On the other hand, it does have a nice smell like all expensive car care products :P

It's on sale at CT 'til Thursday.

I'm wondering if anyone here has compared it to Mothers products? Specifically the three step finish.

I just got the new CT flyer, i think they're extending it for another week (at least in qc)

I've been using mothers, and it works great for me. I highly doubt autoglym would be 'better'. IMO get whichever is cheaper...

Picked up some tire dressing and rim cleaner which I'm looking forward to trying out tomorrow. Also grabbed the HD wax kit for my GF's new C30 since it was on sale, curious to see how it compares to the other waxes I've tried.

I spent ~ $100 at CT a few weeks ago (all products were/are 25% off). Picked up the vinyl and leather care, tire dressing, super resin polish, leather balm and the HD wax kit. I've used the vinyl and leather care on the interior last weekend and I'm very happy with the results. The tire dressing seems to be good but I'll see in a few days. I need to clay bar the car, maybe this week, and will let you know how the polish and HD wax works out..

so far I'd say I'm happy with the products.

Tried out the wheel cleaner and tire dressing yesterday, both seem to work quite well. No spray/splatter from the tire dressing!

LoL, how did you get that much? I'd think they'd give you shit before you got that far. But yea, the shampoo is meh, like Meguiar's better. But the SRP is amazing.
