in a normal car, the air goes into the intake, goes through a bunch of bends, before being blocked by the engine valves, where it then waits to be drawn in.
with the tornade, the air goes into the intake, gets spun into a "vortex", then goes through a bunch more bends, before being blocked by the engine valves, where it then waits to be drawn in.

yup. it clearly will jack up the horsepower and save gas :)
