I've adopted a kid! Born in 2004, cries often (but I like the sound). I just got all her paperwork in order. Shes in mint condition, and is well worth the price I paid. When you push her she is obedient and moves, and rarely slips. You have to manually get her going, but once she is on the right track, well.... zoom zoom. :) Proud (new) owner of an '04 Mazda3 2.0L.

Its been roughly a week since I finalized my private sale to purchase this vehicle. This is my first car, and I'm loving it to bits :) Here are some pictures!

Ok, I know that picture is WAY too big. I can't resize every one of these... so here is the link to click on each one.

Since she is a couple years old, inevitably there is some rust peeping through. The original driver was very good at maintaining the car. There is no rust under the car, most of it is just superficial. I will be making a post on what the best way to deal with this rust is, as well as fixing up a scrape on the lower front bumper.

Thanks!

Pretty cool write up and welcome!! :)

I too had that same feeling when I first got my 3.. Washed it every month at least (by myself).. Even purchased cleaning products for exterior and interior. Although, the carpets are way too dirty and salt is everywhere on the driver side.

If you figure out a DIY way to deal with that rust, let me know.. I too have the same problem with the rear wheel wells... Looks like rust is a real big problem for Mazdas...

Anyway, zoom zoom all the way (corny).. :)

Welcome to TM3! What mods are you planning to make?

Hey bud.

I'm planning on starting with tint, rims, and a prokit drop. After that, headlights/tail lights, and either late this year (if taxes are favourable), or next spring, I'll wind up with a rear sway bar, CAI, and a quiet tuned exhaust. :)
