mazda3 sunroof molding falling apart

my mazda's sunroof molding is falling apart/ chipping. generally just looking ulgy.

the dealer wanted 150 dollars for that piece of rubber... anyone find one cheaper?

Can you paint that rubber molding ?

Used at a wreckers? That is your only other option. I highly doubt you can get an aftermarket rubber seal.

Better statement... I highly doubt you can get an aftermarket rubber seal that will be much cheaper and that won't leak.

Sunroof moulding is almost always a dealers part, waste of time getting one at a wreckers, as a used one won't be in much better shape than your own. This is one instance where you have to bite the bullet and buy new OEM.

i did see 2 at the wreckers but with the engine and battery the sunroof remains in the closed position...
