Almost two weeks ago I was rear ended. The damage seemed pretty minimal (pic below). The other driver took all blame and even insisted on going to a collision reporting centre. The car was taken to an insurance recommended body shop. I asked for three recommendations and chose one. Everything was going pretty smoothly and all signs pointed to getting the car back quickly.
Then not so much. Mazda Canada has bumpers, but some of the pieces behind the bumper are on back order and there is no arrival date for these parts. So now my poor car, sits there bumperless, while I enjoy the rental car.
Not really sure what you all should take out of this, I guess just be aware if you've been rear ended, you maybe without your car for a while.
