Hey guys, I noticed that during hot days my A/C was not really working like it used to!! Air not really cold. What do you guys think the problems is and how much it would cost me to fix?

It might be the cabin air filter. When was the last time you changed it? Also, if your car doesn't have one, I have seen that there will still be a slot for it, and junk can get lodged in it.

if we are talking about the air filter under the hood I changed my air filter last year!

the cabin air filter is by the passenger side lower foot well below the glove box. you may have a leak in your ac system. if it worked better last year i would suspect that to be a problem. could even be as small as a pin hole. i would suggest going to your dealer have them inspect your ac system.

Yep!! could habe been cheaper but the fact that it was in the evaporator, they had to remove the whole dash = 8 hours of labours. that alone is twice the price of the evaporator

My AC crapped out on me on my roadtrip from Toronto to Florida this summer. I pulled over at a rest stop in South Carolina and I checked the manual. It says it may stop functioning after 30ish + Celsius. Greattt... When I needed AC the most and it was 38 Celsius. Note to self: Bring a plug in fan for next road trip...
