Oil filter

Hey there brothers and sisters!!
I'm going to change my oil this weekend, 2010 Speed 3 and will be picking up some Rotella T6 5-W40 oil. Will be doing it myself.
I.m just wondering what type of oil filter most of you are using in your Speed 3's.

I just stick with the OEM Mazda filter from the dealership. I like keeping as much as possible OEM as there's a reason for car manufacturer's creating their original parts. I recently purchased two 2010 Speed 3 filters (out of habit from my old car). Funny thing is, I won't be using it until around October because of the 8000 km intervals for oil changes, lol. If you want, I can sell one to you at a reduced price.

I dont have a speed but I have a 2.5L 2010 and I use the Fram Tough Guard oil filters. In fact, I use them on all the cars I do oil changes on :)

I don't have a speed but I use the oem filters ... I buy 6 at a time from MOT

Just get the OEM the price isn't that expensive and you are at least sure it meets specs. Aftermarket there's a lot of marketing but we never know if any of it even meets requirements.

Thanks brother Queue for the offer, I appreciate it but I think I'll just pick one up, there's a Mazda dealership close to me here in Brampton.

I use WIX filters. Heard many good things about these filters and the auto parts store is close to home for me.

Other than that I would probably go with OEM.
