I was driving down my neighborhood on Waterbridge lane on sunday night may 22nd around 11:30pm which is in Unionville Markham and I was turning out and just driving down the lane following a speed limit of 40km mindin g my own business.
Then I see a civic in front of me that was driving really slow so I was thinking he was just trying to find a house and park and he did he just moved to the side of the street, at that moment I went around him slowly to pass him ( remember this is a small street 40 km is the limit with one lane)
Out of nowhere that's when I noticed some guy driving a red lancer (regular lancer 09 and up model) tailgating me.... I just ignored him and continued to drive 40km but he was following me very closely.
I turned left onto kennedy and the guy just cuts me off without signaling and while he's in front of me he puts on his emergency lights and then after that he drives off.
I was pretty pissed about it but I just tried to remain calm, I couldn't catch his licence plate but a coworker of mine told me I can report him if I see him next time using this

I'm just wondering if any of you guys here have ever needed to use this and if you ever encountered some ppl like this on the streets before? keep in mind I didn't do anything to enrage this person at all and I was going along speed limit minding my own business
and also what does "signaling an emergency light at me" mean anyways?

Was he driving a LanEvo with the front plate to one side? Cause if it was, it could have been a case of mistaken identity and thought your car was mine. My neighbour a couple houses down would talk shit about our rides.
EDIT - just googled where waterbridge was, and was nowhere close to my location. The driver was being a total dick.

hey man ... hmmm i don't think it was a lanEvo and I couldn't really see the position of his front plate.
When he was behind me he didn't have Xenon headlights and i'm not sure if that is what comes with LanEvos as standards
I also didn't see much mods to it if any to the car so it looked pretty stock to me.

Normally, it would be a sign of "thank-you" when you allow that person to merge in front of you into your lane, similar to a wave that you would see from their rear window (ex. when you let truck drivers in, many times they signal their hazard lights as a sign of thanks because they can't wave as they do not have a rear window).
However, in your instance, it seemed more like a, "thanks... you slow azz bizatch. You were in my way from showing off how much of a prick I am" ... type of signaling. It's instances like that where I sometimes wish I had a fully weaponized car a la James Bond and fire off some missiles up his arse then pass his flaming wreck while playing the Bond theme song.... tana tana, te na na ...or not.

a dick sucking wanker??
according to urban dictionary: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=wanker
While "to wank" means "to masturbate"
:chuckle
if he used his 4 ways thats a way of saying sorry or thanks
maybe he was in a hurry emergency ?

hhmm... very true. I forgot about that side of the coin. I retract my missile shooting, flaming wreck comment earlier. If his intentions of being a prick was to cut you off, then he probably didn't have to go to the trouble and press the hazard lights button. (now I feel bad:()
dont worry about it, thats not so bad
today i had a a guy cut me off to exit his driveway, and he was so mad i honked he stopped his car, got out of it and came over to my window and proceeded to cuss me out in a vaguely racist way
driving in toronto/gta is the worst.
