Yup thats the one. They just got it in this week and I knew it wouldnt last long. I dont know how I feel about the red panels on the interior though. Going to remove the stickers too.

Nice enough guy.. but he was trying to convince me that the blue automatic 2004 RX-8 that they're selling as-is has no mechanical problems (except the shudder you feel when you slow to a stop is due to the motor mounts which can be easily repaired for less than $500) in spite of the 3 accidents that are reported on its Carproof report.

I had found out late April by Motion Mazda that this car was a warranty write off (RED FLAGGED) by Mazda of Canada in September 2007 because there were over 25 claims against this car. For the time that I owned this car it was great always did what I wanted it to do and always performed well, other then for the burning oil which was looked after to the best of my ability. This car was traded in due to Mazda of Canada not wanting to warranty this car because of the RED FLAG and the because of the misrepresentation by the now defuncted dealer in Orangeville. I loved this car but I would have by all means walked away from this deal if I knew that Mazda wanted nothing to do with this car and would have kept my beautiful Jeep Wrangler that was an absolute pig on gas.....LOL. As for engine and tranny being replaced it was not done by me but maintenance was always done and performed to either Mazda's standards or my own which were more stricked then Mazda's.

it was a case of motion Mazda putting the wrong oil in 5W20 to light. it still burned oil but it was little to none. when i traded it in. which is acceptable to Mazda's guide from what I was told.

The tranny is really notchy though... Not like a civic where its all soft and jelly like. I guess they are supposed to be tight.

It was painted red by the previous owner. I painted it back to black.
