When my HIDs come on at night I feel like the dont travel that far. It seems like they are aimed too low to the ground. Also, the right HID bulb seems a little bit higher than the left. I drive a 2007 Mazdaspeed3... question is are these lights auto leveling and if not are they easy to level on your own?
Thanks

Well your left HID is normally a little lower than the right one, thats for on coming traffic lol. ANd if you have the switch on the left side of the dash you can adjust the headlights up or down.

If the car has OEM HIDs, not autoleveling, but there is dial on the left side of the dash that adjusts. Normally set to lowest setting.
No switch=after market HIDs (assming car has HIDs at all) = only leveling is using adjustment screws on the headlight.

Thanks for the quick responses :)
Do you guys mean the switch behind the steering wheel to turn the headlights on, off, or auto?

No, we mean there is a dial on your left hand side marked with numbers, this auto raises the hid's.

Yup. Set to 1 normally. There is recommendations in the manual for what setting to use based on how the car is loaded.
BTW, if you don't have a manual: You can find PDF copies on line..... any of '07,'08,'09 would work - only fairly minor change between those years.

Good stuff! I was playing around with the knob in the day thinking it was something for the interior lighting and nothing changed lol. Makes sense now.
Thanks
