View Full Version : Injen RD6061P CAI- how loud (acceptable for daily driver)?

I have to make up my mind asap since i will have to decide whether or not to leave a deposit in a few hours. Help me out; thanks in advance.

EDIT: This is for a 2010 2.0l btw.

no reply's? doesnt matter now, already left a deposit lol.

i hope its a direct fit for 2010 2.0l (if anyone has an identical setup, please chime in)....

It's quieter than my Ractive SRI. But it sounds very nice regardless. And no CEL so far :)

did you have to remove the bumper? and who did your install?

Yes I had to remove my bumper and I did the install myself.

by any chance do you have pics lying around of the engine bay. its getting picked up monday and im trying to figure out if i can do this on my own or wait till jimmy is free lol...

i just dont want to take off rho plate again, such a pain in the ass to put back :(

You should be able to install an intake without taking the bumper off...just need to take the drivers front wheel off an undo the bottom tray and wheel liner.

Guide (even though it says to take the bumper off)

I just got this intake about a month ago, I love it! gives a slight whistle when you change gears which is kinda cool. As for the noise, its not that loud at all, only when you really punch it. Enjoy!
