I heard of Jimmy, he seems like a really good guy :). However, Markham is a tad bit too far to get my regular maintenance stuff done.
Was really looking for an honest good mechanic in Newmarket/Aurora.

Too far? It's like 35km away and takes 20 minutes to go to Markham from Newmarket.
I live in Newmarket and take my car to see Rich and Jimmy exclusively for service. If you really must stay in Newmarket, then just take it to Dave Wood Mazda for service.

Aren't we tired of hearing Jimmy in every LF garage/mechanic threads? I agree Jimmy is awesome and i deal with him as well, but when someone specific ask for someone in a certain area, stick with that area.
I do some jobs at Jimmy but some easy job, I'll do at a local garage at Missisauga just to save time and gas. If I see alternative at Mississauga area for a good mechanic, I don't mind visiting.

I'm giving up on finding a good mechanic in Newmarket/Aurora. LOL.
My friend recently introduced me to the people at MT Motorsports in Richmond Hill near 16th/Yonge, 3 people run it.
It is about the same distance as Jimmys from Newmarket. However, I work in Brampton and MT Motorsports is more convenient coming from work.
Also, on weekends I'm usually near Yonge Street from north to south so it works out very well for me on weekends if I need to visit them.
Very good people. Got an oil change and I'm quite pleased at the price and quality of work so far. I am also pleased at how open they are.
My car has been leaking oil from the transmission and they inspected it a few times for free just to make sure it's not severe.
They are straight up people who really love cars and bikes.
They have been working on a few Miatas that look very beautiful! You can also check out the bikes they are working on too.
If you go there just mention David with the Grey Mazda 3 sent you to build that relationship.

good luck all.
