Hey gang, I've got a set of TEIN H-Techs that I got from Rallyplaya a little while back. They still haven't gone onto the car, but there's a sweet local deal on some RX-8 5 spokes.

Obviously, I'd like to have both, but is that feasible? Any spacers needed? Rolled fenders? Suggested tire sizes? I can live without lowering the car is the Shinkas eat up the wheel gap, but I'd love to have the stance and the rims.

Normally, I'd do a bit of research on the subject, but the deal for the rims is time sensitive. Any feedback would be appreciated.

The H-Techs are a very mild drop, and the RX-8's have a very high offset. You can run that setup without spacers, or a roll without issue.

+1. Not sure on the drop of the H-Techs but I had pro-kits and RX-8 rims with 225/40/18, no rubbing issues at all.

Thanks guys. Will be a done deal tomorrow afternoon. Sorry for asking something that's been the subject of so many threads. Just needed something definitive in a hurry. Thanks again, all.

Heh... OMG Which parts of Calgary are you around BTW?

There are a few parts (Mostly parking lot entrances in Calgary) where I scraped the bottom of my front bumper with my pro-kits, just letting you know.

I'm in the SW. Cedarbrae, specifically.

Rims are a no-go after all that. Rims are Curbed with a capital C.

Ahaha... that blows man.

Have fun with the drop though, but I still say, watch out for a few exits and entrances.
