Search function help

Is it just me or is the search function on this forum odd.
Im searching for "dog hair" and the word dog only showed up 1 time in the first 7 pages.
Ive tried searching posts, threads, advanced options everything. I even went through page by page in the ext and int maintain. secion to see if i could find a thread on dog hair removal.


Eventually i went to google and advanced searched specific site before finding posts on the topic.

Am i missing something or should the on site search function work better.

p.s. google showed 67 posts with "dog hair" in it. all from this site.

try "dog hair" with quotations around it..

Pretty much the same problem.
Although under advanced options it did narrow it down to 7 posts which had nothing to do with dog hair.
