My name is Brad, I bought my 2008 3 GS 2.0 5spd in Dec 07. I joined this community nearly a year later when i bought ms3 springs for it. Since purchased it has received ms cai and cat-back ms short shifter and tein lowering springs. I've run it at Grand Bend last year pulled off a 15.76 this year I ran at Sparta and pulled a 15.72 and i think that will max out the car and my skills until i get additional power. Plans for the future are my friend and i will try and find a 2.3 to swap in but either build it up n/a or toss a turbo on it before swapping it in. I would like to run 17's instead of the stock 16's and tint windows.

Anyone with any other ideas?

Bringing up a turbo conversion of a NA body... better have your flame suit. :P
Not that there's anything wrong with the idea, just that the general consensus seems to be that it's a money pit that probably won't net you the same results as just buying a Speed would.

Other than the engine plans, everything else seems solid, considering the mods already performed.

What about a header? That should give you additional power on top of the ms cai + ms cbe. Also, are you sure ms cbe gives you additional power? I think it's better to measure the power based on dyno, rather than your track times :). Just my 2 cents.

I've never had my car without the intake and exhaust told the dealer i wouldn't buy if it didn't have those installed. The difference in times would be track, tires, and springs. I will be posting pics of the car as soon as i get some a couple friends have some from the track but thats about it. Time to take some of my own.
