View Full Version : Let Paul Go To Vegas!
Hey guys,
My buddy Paul's wife says if we get 1000 "likes" on his FB page, she will let him go to Vegas. Paul used to drive a Mazda3! Please help us out! She underestimates the power of the Internet. =)

Las Vegas can be a great experience.
I dislike Facebook, but i made an account (no pic, nothing) just so i can vote for this to help a former TM3er. 73rd vote!
Good luck!
You guys are awesome! Thanks for all the support. I know his wife is starting to get worried!
If you guys could re-share and encourage your friends to like the page and in turn, re-share with their friends... I'm sure we could get this done in a few days! LOL.

#110 :)
We made it up to 114... and then someone left the group! lol. I hope this isn't the start of a trend! Maybe Paul's wife is starting counter measures. ;)
You guys rock. We still have a chance. =)

when do you need to meet this quota? for the right price i can make several hundred new accounts.... let me know..btw i contributed #120
LOL, great thinking! ;) But I'd rather not cheat! I think 2 weeks is what it will come down to --- I'm still trying to negotiate more time with his wife lol.
Thx for contributing!
We were up to 125 this morning, but then someone unliked the group :( --- Maybe they didn't remember liking it the first time and accidentally unliked it???
Gotta think positive... lol.

But I also think Paul needs to strap on a pair.
Thanks for the like. :like
It's an inside joke... Paul and Liz are actually very cool people. (And I'm not saying that because Liz is watching...because she is...)

If Paul is seriously intent on hitting 1000, he might want to put this up on other popular forums (ie. redflagdeals).
Good call, SJ! I'm totally willing to do that --- I rarely post there though. I don't want to seem like I'm spamming. :( Any chance I can recruit all willing TM3ers to pass the word onto other popular sites? The only thing I ask is that people keep in mind it's just an inside joke and the wife in question is very cool. (People always assume the worst).
Shock & Awe time!! =) http://www.facebook.com/pages/If-We-Get-1000-Likes-Liz-Will-Let-Paul-Go-To-Vegas/208732719169243
Here's a capture of TM3 killing the competition =)

People still go on probetalk?
Yup, it's still alive and kicking. =) I've got my Probe still stored. 200 hp KLZE w/ JDM tranny (LSD) swap. =)
I just posted it up on RFD myself --- Hopefully it gets approved by a moderator. :mod power smiley
Thanks for the suggestion!

Nice! I've had 2 KLZE MX3's.
Nice! Those must have been fast as hell, given how light the MX3 was! Did they ever figure out how to get the KLZE Intake manifold onto the MX3? I know it didn't clear the hood... Did anyone ever release an aftermarket hood that cleared it?
Thx for all the LIKES guys.. Please keep 'em coming! We're almost at 150 and Paul's wife is bragging that she doesn't think we're gonna make it. =)

It wasn't that it wouldn't clear the hood. The straight neck manifold would put the throttle body right up against the master cylinder. I saw a couple of people turn the throttle body upside down, but that would still be too close IMO. A few others shaved down the front engine mount to tilt the motor forward a bit. I took the easy route though. Bought a curved neck ZE manifold and swapped it onto my straight neck motor.

Nice. I never knew why it didn't clear, I just knew that people swapped the manifolds for their KLDE manifold ... I didn't know that the curved neck worked. I remember when I was engine shopping at Tiger Japan (?) and I walked up and down their many KLZE's and finally found one with the LSD tranny AND straight neck. =) I then discovered that my USDM driver-side CV shaft was like 1/8" too short and the circlip wouldn't lock on, prompting it to pop out... Back to TJ I went and out of their ENTIRE ware house, using one of their guys as a guide, I managed to find the driver side stub in < 15 minutes LOL (It was in the trash!). What are the odds? After that, I had a shop that specializes in CV shafts mate the inner stub/shaft with my CV shaft... It was an interesting experience! Definitely worth it though.

Nice! That's where I bought my motor too. Turned out to be the most bulletproof ZE I've ever seen. Lasted through 2 different cars and never burned a drop of oil. Miss that car...

I miss my last car too, although I don't miss the squeaks in the interior. :) The engine was rock solid, never burnt any oil... Just like you said. Twice, I pulled the car from a heavy stumbler (1+ year) and took it to get e-tested and it passed lol.
