the pricing for these two are almost the same 560+ cad and yea that includes shipping on the corksport system also (not sure if theres any other fees besides shipping).

i need some input and opinions on which one to get...what im most worried about are cops pulling me over for a "loud" exhuast lol.

which brand is more reputable from your experience and which one sounds "better" overall...i dont want to drive my car down the street and have it sound like its farting lol

DON'T get the Corksport... By my understanding, they are quite loud.

I quite like the deep rumble of the magnaflow and will probably be going that route, personally... Also if you want it a bit quieter you could (a) buy just the muffler instead of the full cat-back exhaust and/or (b) install a different resonator.

Really? Hmm a lot of people are telling me to go corksport over magna... how loud is loud? enough to disturb the peace? lol

I own a Corksport and love it. At the time i bought the CB it was the only one on the market. Shipping was easy also, order my from Quebec. If you want the information i can grab it for you if that helps. Shipping was 60 I think. And install was easy no cutting do to i got the full Cat with it, better that way. Dosen't sound like a farting can thats a sure thing. Or i wouldn't of installed it.

But in the end comes to what you like. You should hear the systems in person to make your choice.

good luck with it :D

I was in the same boat a month or so back... went with the magnaflow CBE system (full custom). I heard the res/delete + magnaflow muffler swap, and it buzzes in the high rpms, while a nice growl when idling lol. It sure fooled me. Then I heard the CS CBE on floodgatez car and was pretty impressed with how it sounds. It's actually not that loud. Hearing his car actually made me go the CBE route. The reason I went custom instead of the CS, was because I wanted a different type of tip. I think my exhaust is slightly quieter than FG's but has a nice deep growl in both low and high rpms. **mine and FG's car is the 2.5L and the muffler swap was on the 2.0L IIRC.

Here are the pics, sound clip and a review of my exhaust:

Good luck with the search!

Had Jimmy of sp install my Corksport with high flow catalyst yesterday. It's running really nicely. Deep growl and rumble ... as far as "loud" goes, it's subjective.

Girlfriend loves it, she was expecting it to be ricey, but now compares the idle rumble to my Saab 9-3.

All in all, I'm liking it (though I have nothing to compare it to previously hehehe)!! It also only took Jimmy about 35 - 40 minutes to install!!

I have the corksport + race pipe. Let's just say you'll be driving with authority when u get it. Lol. 3-4k rpm is loud, but once it's over 4k, my K&N SRI kicks in and it'll have a synchronized sound.

Might get a noise complaint lol, public can't handle all that noise. Even so, an orchestra of high quality exhausts would be a memorable moment. Mmmmmmm
