Hi guys,
I tried to search for specific spring rates for all springs, but it seems like manufactures don't really like to provide spring rates on their sites lol. I am hoping someone with more info can help me on here.
Does anyone have any idea what is the STIFFEST spring for Mz3? Aside from MS3 springs. I find prokit + koni yellows are incredibly soft....
Currently I am thinking maybe H&R sport or RM, but open to suggestions!
Thanks,
Shu

i would say coilover springs are stiffest. but i am on the basics and my ride stiffness is enough for my car to go airborne if i go over a bump fast enough lol...ya i tried it like an idiot :P

I have heard Road Magnet's are one of the stiffest. Might be the stiffest if you go with the 1.5" drop springs instead of the 1.25"

Yep, leaning towards the RMs...

I switched to the 1.25" drop RMs two months ago from Prokits and love them. They were the stiffest non-coilover springs I could find. Also running Koni yellows @ 50%, very happy with the combo. I also no longer rub at full lock (did with Prokits).

How was the drop compare to prokits?

Thought this link might give you some further help. Donutz did a write up on Prokits vs. RMs vs. S-techs and he provided the spring rates too.

Rear seems about the same, slightly less drop in the front, which is what I wanted. I found the front to be lower than I liked/expected with the Prokits. I'd actually like the rear to be slightly lower, the sedan seems to have more wheel gap in the back than the hatch.

Thanks for replying. Did you feel a noticeable improvement in handling over the soft prokits? lol

Have you looked into Swift springs? I just started doing some research on them (KW coil spring swap) so I don't know much about them other than the fact that they are pretty awesome from the reviews. Doubt I'll ever do the swap because I love the way I ride right now, but it's nice to know I have alternatives if anything.

Yea I have heard of them, but I thought they were mainly for spring swap for coils. I want to stay with shock/spring combo

I swapped springs, dampers, and RSB all at once so I can't specifically comment on the springs alone - but yeah, firmer overall, more stable, less roll in corners, etc.
