Pretty much the RX8 driver went on the brakes too hard.

RX8 driver didn't get on the brakes too hard. The Camero had brake problems and locked it up when he finally got them to bite.

And the winner is..... Oh wait, they're both wrecked.. :)

It's incredible that they both got out ok.. Safety features for the win. Although, it looks like the Camaro brakes locked at maybe 200km/hour.

Yea I know thats what they said but if you watch the RX-8 he was kinda pulsing on the brakes before the incident.

No pulsing of the brakes at all on behalf of the RX8. Watch the angle from behind. Nothing but brake lights and a stable race speed and line. Also, if you watch it again, you can see the camero nosedive a couple of times as he pumps the brakes.

+1. The RX-8 driver did nothing wrong at all. The Camaro either had a stuck throttle, brake problems, or both.
