Transformers 3 DOTM....thoughts? ***WARNING SPOILERS***

watched it twice already..i may go back for a third time:chuckle

story was better and there were a lot of action scenes. some sad..some good.

what are your thoughts if you watched it?

Yes alot of action from the previous two...
Some funny scenes too...

Its an A- for me just because the "new chick" ruined the movie...she cant act shit..although shes quite hot but not on Meagan Fox's level..

Although the movie got alot of action scene...the ending is like not enuff and theres something missing..

Overall the movie is great...im for sure buying it for blu-ray when it comes out

Lots of action, but I felt it was about 30 minutes too long.

I saw it in AVX 3D after reading online that the assault scene was worth the extra price of watching it in 3D...m'eh, Alice in Wonderland was 10x better in 3D.

I could have done without John Malkovich's character since the franchise already has John Turturro's character. The parents could also have been left out. I swear Rose's character was added into the scenes in post and they used a broomstick as a stand-in during shooting...same acting ability.

I hope they make another installment, love the action, but story just wasn't there. Megatron got killed off too easy in this one, what happened to SoundWave? There's lots of unanswered questions, like what's going to happen to the Decepticon leadership and what's going to happen to Cybertron.

The reviews weren't all that good for this movie, really hope they make another one and there's lots of characters I want to see on screen like Dinobots and Omega Supreme. lol.

I thought the movie was pretty good. Waaaay better than Revenge of the Fallen. I thought the highway chase was pretty epic!

Loved the fighting, Bay-splosions and how the Transformers had more screen time. But I didn't like how it just ended, there was no closure to the series. Feels like a director's/extended cut on blu-ray is a must.

Watched it in Imax 3D and it didn't measure up to Avatar's 3D effect. If you haven't seen it yet you might as well watch it in 2D.

Watched it last night in 3D, wasn't as bad as I've heard people say. The action was pretty good but overall it was a tad long. Found it kinda weird how the Autobots spent so much time trying to kill Megatron in the other movies, but here he gets his head ripped off in a few minutes lol.

Wasn't a fan of the beginning, it felt like they were trying to do a comedy for the first half hour but it definitely got better. It was better than the 2nd but the first Transformers still rules.

ya the ending was kinda lame...but megatron was already missing half his face lol. and optimus had one arm :( it's sad that they didn't recognize ironhide's death like they did with Jazz in the first movie...wtf?

My 2 cents...

I liked the movie a lot. The first one was still definitely the best so far, but this one was almost in league with it.. More action, and more robot screen time. :) :thumbsup

Things that I did not like is, as phil05gx, how they did not recognize Ironhide's death and how easily he was killed off. I seriously was shocked when stupid Sentinel shot him in the back :bang (I hope they find some way to bring him back)...

Lots of action, and robot fight scenes, I guess Megatron died that quick because he's too banged up and damaged to have regained his strength as in the first movie. What's weird is how he listened to the "new girl" that easily, and retaliated on Sentinel. I mean, he just met her, the real Megatron would have flicked her away. But overall, good movie, and will definitely get a copy once it comes out. :)

That's Michael Bay for you, he shoots one amazing set piece and reuses it in his other movies. If they served beer in the theaters I bet someone would have a made a drinking game based on that already.

Better than the Revenge of the Fallen (not saying alot) but way toooooo long. My eyes started to hurt with the 3D Glasses. What the hell did they do to shockwave??? Megatron needs a rag to cover his face? WTF? So disappointing! Liked it at first until I had time to think about after leaving the theatre.

Bay does good action scenes.....otherwise he'll leave you wanting more. This series needs a reboot. Enough with the cheesy characters (human and robot). Yes some of the robots are old but do they need beards and canes??

That mini autobot with the blue hair that looks like a muppet was not needed in this film, nor that professor "Q" autobot with the messed up face. Michael Bay should have made those autobots more serious and not comical.

Seriously, I think they should make another one, just to make it right and scam us out of more money. lol.

I liked the movie. But before watching it, I originally thought that the Autobots were going to lose this round because how can they come back from such a HUGE Decepticon invasion!?!? This would have set up the next installment for a come back of the Autobots. Bust out the Dinobots, or the five jets that form into the Autobot's first big combiner robot, Superion!

Why doesn't a couple of the Autobots just upgrade their spark and scan a much larger object like a battleship or those enormous earth excavating machines and plow the Decepticons into scrap metal?... "Why do Decepticons always have the best sh*t?"... lol

It was pretty long, i liked the action and all the explosions, plot didn't make complete sense and ending wasn't really complete, as others have said...saw it in 3d, not avx though.
Loved the part where they charge in to the city, it was a bit like 300 or Troy lol

Enjoyed it nonetheless

Poor Ironhide cannot catch a break. He dies in 1985 and dies in 2011 each time with little to no attention to his death!!!! :( lol

just saw it in 3D. agree with everybody so far about the weak ending. the scene that I really liked was when they were flying in with the wing suits on, that was cool in 3D

Guess the first one to say that I am thankful they serve beer in the VIP theatres, otherwise I may have left. Can we get Christopher Nolan to re-boot the series maybe......

The guy who does the voice of Soundwave was great.
