2005 stock stereo not working

i removed my aftermarket deck, threw my stock one back in.

no lights come on, no words nothing.. (ignition on)
i disconnected the battery before installing.
the eject button pushes the cd out, notifications of power.
but still acts dead. only life is the eject button

removed aftermarket deck
hooked up stock stereo
hooked up battery
turned ignition.. nothing
only button that works in eject
lights dont come on

any solutions?

did you splice and dice any of the factory wiring or did you buy the adapters?
checked the fuse in the pjb?
dead radio?
If the cd is ejecting then the fuse should be good and more then likely a dead radio

is there a security code that you need to re-enter to get the stereo working?. Check your origional owners manual, bet there is!
