This being said, it looks like Jag has a winner on its hands because I've been seeing a ton of F types. Both Coupe and Convertible.

Most of the Defender 90 & 110 that I've seen up for sale are all out in Calgary or Vancouver.
There are a couple in the GTA but all are $40K+ ( at least the ones that are in reasonable shape).

That would be something. I know it a very popular swap, but stupid emission laws make it hard to have that engine here. The whole point of us developing these V8 kits was to make the defender chassis more easily available here in North America.

The F40 competed very well in the field as well. Much respect to that beauty. But it's the F50 that never had a time to shine. Rules and regulations changed so much, that only 3 of those puppies exist in race trim. Too bad it never had its day.

We're all speculating anyway, having never driven them...but the F12 is probably far less twitchy than the F1 ever was. I'd also wager than the 918/Veyron/aventador/etc and the big power 4wd cars are far easier to drive to their limits.

For for sure most owners who have 12c's will be looking to move into their updated 650s's.

The 12c's will become a lot cheaper on the used market once the 650's begin to flood the market.

Ive already seen 3 650's up around my area. Rest assure some of these guys were driving 12c's.

depends on the car. But in most cases people do it on the wrong cars and not only does it look bad.... it makes it hard to see their lights during the day because some people have made their tails very dark.

it should be illegal... just like how you cant really have really dark tint on your windows.

It actually is illegal to make your rear lights tinted/smoked.
Eventually the person will get stopped by police. I know this because I got called on it when I was driving my RX-7. He asked how I got the tint/smoke to look so flawless. I just looked at him and told him it's the way it comes from the factory. I didn't do anything to it. But he insisted I did something and since I did a "factory look" on it, he let me go.
I carry some photos of other peoples cars now just in case so I can reference it if I get pulled over. Ridiculous!

I went down to Toronto for the Christmas Market yesterday morning. By accident because I didn't make the lane change earlier enough, I ended up on Lakeshore. Right around by the TipTop condos, driving the other direction, I passed a white Aventador. My windows were all up but I can still hear it and it was glorious. But that thing is huge.
When I parked at my friends building at the distillery, he let me use his spot as we have a little one with us. Around his parking spot were porsches and bimmers and audis; and one of them was an R8.

Those are fantastic, unreliable as they may be. My parents had an '05 for a while. MSRP was like $94K; they paid $39K CPO in like '07 with less than 25K on it. Sold it for $25K a couple years later when the warranty ran out.

I made it into the city Sat night. While I was having dinner with my friend at a pub/restaurant in front of the TIFF lighthouse, we saw these vehicles in a span of 3hrs.
A new Ferrari California, 2 R8 conv., a 918 Spyder, 3 458 Italias, 2 Gallardos, 3 R8 coupes, a maser Gran tourismo MC (I think that's the designation for the supposedly lighter/faster version of it), 2 new 991 turbos (1 of them was conv), an 80's 911 (really mint looking. Looks really small compared to its modern equivalent), and about 5 F types (2 of them being conv).
For whatever reason I thought the 918 would have more presence. I think it's predecessor does a better job of being theatrical.
Unfortunately I couldn't capture anything on camera. :(

Nope. I remember pretty much all the vehicles I encounter on a daily bases. I've been a car fanatic as long as I could remember. :)

I'll try to take more photos. Just not use to taking pics of random people's vehicles unless they give me permission.

Doesn't help the area I live in is also ridden with high end exotics. You go to Longo's and it's not uncommon to find numerous Tesla Model S's, a few Bentley Flying Spurs, the odd Rolls Phantom, and once in awhile the older style Maybach. On the very odd days you'll find a few McLaren 12c's/650's and the occasional Ferrari stopping by too.

I think I went to Upper Canada Mall on Thursday last week, upon entering the mall I saw a Ford GT roll by, as well as a F430 Spider. On the way out I saw an F12 and a Black Gallardo leaving the area.
Who needs downtown? :)
