Trial for ticket(s)

So my trial is tomorrow morning @ 9am

It's for two tickets I got with my previous car back in Oct of last year.

1 - failure to have insurance

2- unnecessary noise

for ticket 1, i had proper insurance with me, i just happened to give him the wrong (expired) one instead of the current one which was right below that paper, i have documented proof i was consistently insured and during that time. so i'm not too worried about that one, and plus, it's only a $65 ticket if i lose anyway.

for ticket 2, i'm gonna need to get creative to fight it if it gets to that point. i'm hoping the prosecutor will drop the case before trial though. i've got some ideas to argue this one and i have been on ticketcombat.com and spoke briefly to xcopper and a lawyer friend of the family's. this one i'm 50/50 on so i guess i really need to just hope for the best

if anyone's got any quick tips they want to offer me that would be great, aside from that.... i'll just need some luck :D

i hoard them all. which turned out to be a good thing now. cause i have every single paper with me since i started with my current insurance company. all still in the same pouch.

Because he reopened it himself, can't do 11b.
Delay not beyond the defendants control.

haha dude, u went from civic to ms3!?! wow. hey gl with the trial, its ur word against the cops, maybe he wont show up? if anything, might get a reduction or throw out, because of the first ticket being a mistake.

ewwww... i had a failure to have insurance ticket.. what a PITA that was.. i forgot to realize my insurance didnt send me my renewal slips when i got pulled over for... "she thought i was speeding" some newbie female cop... im just glad i got it thrown out.

tickets thrown! all that prep for nothing. didn't even have to go to trial.

insurance - proof - thrown

unreasonable noise - don't have the car anymore - thrown!

Awesome!! :) I got pulled over once for having expired plates.. Went in to court, prosecutor ask if I had it renewed and if the stickers are placed, literally flashed the receipt (he didn't even take it and looked at it), less than a minute later, he scratched off the thing on his list and sent me off saying the ticket's cancelled.. :)

I hope it goes this way for my speeding ticket, :)

lol that's pretty nice. i got a speeding ticket too but i got someone to fight it for me. trial's set in dec and it's downtown..... is your trial coming up soon?
gl man. hopefully it all gets resolved with the prosecutor without goignt o trial. for me the officer actually helped me out too.
