Well, not in Ontario but in Alberta.
We crossed the border from Saskatchewan on our cross Canada-USA trip a few days ago, heading all the way from Toronto to Vancouver then back via the US. Albertans are laughing, plus they don't have PST.
Cheap gas in Alberta

And the Prairies is really flat, here is a pic taken in Manitoba showing the Flax crops in full bloom and the flat terrain as far as the eye could see.

And here's a pic of famous Lake Louise in Banff, you can see the retreating glacier in the background, very lovely area as those who have been there will confirm

They also get $0.02/L in coupon back when fill up. Damn, that's a nice price to get.
Been to Lake Louise, not much to see but the water and scenery.

I've never been to Banff so why is there so much snow and ice there?? I was going to ask how high up were you but I see a large lake in the picture as well so I'm assuming you're not high up.
Also, bring some gas back for the rest of us!!

Here are my shots of Lake Louise and some other Banff glaciers/lakes in 2006. Beautiful at 6am without any ripples in the water...

Flat but at least there was some scenery to look at. Saskatchewan is worse.

it's all the demand stuff..gas in toronto is in high demand therefore prices go up so companies make a profit. where there isn't a demand for gas is where the prices are super low (as pictured above for example). living in toronto sucks donkey balls.

not necessarily.
having the gas come out of the ground 4 hours north of me, and 5% tax makes the largest difference.

Our high gas prices has nothing to do with high demand right now... The price of fuel has gone up because of speculation on what's going on in Liba

Yes Banff is high up in the Rockies but that glacier is even higher so its cold.. also the Columbia Icefield with all the glaciers is even higher, you will love it, see more pics below
Sorry can`t bring back cheap gas as I`m coming back to TO through the northern US, currently on the way to Yellowstone Park and Mt Rushmore, lol...

Those are some great pics there, love the reflictions off the still waters. Your last pic looks like the Columbia Icefield, here are some more pics as we travelled up the Icefield
Athabasca glacier in the Columbia Icefield - note the relatively small size of the vehicles
http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l219/2002_gpgtp/1-MISC/Athabascaglacier.jpg
These monster transport vehicles are used - $1.2 M each mainly because of the beefed up transmission
http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l219/2002_gpgtp/1-MISC/12Mtransportmachines.jpg
These vehicles just crawl along but have massive amounts of torque
http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l219/2002_gpgtp/1-MISC/Gettingtotheglacier.jpg
The glacier is huge, about 10,000 years old and as high as the Eiffel Tower

Fellow traveller walking on history - you can see lots of the aged blue ice

Yup! Bleemer you're absolutely correct. That was indeed the Columbia Icefield. I was with my parents a few years ago on that trip and we decided not to go on those monster-bus things. How was it?

We had a blast there, I swear Banff area is one of the most scenic parts of Alberta. We drank some of the melt-waters there too, imagine that, tasting water hundreds of years old...lol
We are on our way to Mt Rushmore in S Dakota, here are some pics of Yellowstone Park that we just visited ;)
