did u mount it straight to the roof rack w/ those tension cables? no other device used?

Yup. Loops in the middle, comes over top and loops back under the rail. 4 separate ratchet straps. The Rola roof racks arent wide enough to support the two 'yaks side by side. Custom extended rails give the extra width. Looking to add a bike to each end as well.
