The rest of the suspension pieces fit so I assume these would too, don't know if anyone has done it though.

like dave said, it should fit since the chassis hasnt changed since 2004

All suspension parts from first-gen MZ3 are compatible with the second-gen MZ3, however the "knuckle" on the rear suspension is narrower on the second-gen MZ3, and as a result you'll have to special-order extended bolts from your local Mazda dealer if you want to play it safe. Cost is about $13 for the pair, product code 9YA0-2A-228B.
I would assume the same applies to Gen.1 Mazda3 parts going onto a Gen.2 Mazdaspeed3, but don't know for certain.
Would the coilovers off a Mazda3 be robust enough for the 'speed3?

Thanks for the reply and info
Good question, I have no idea if it`s tough enough for a Speed3...

Kinda of a moot point as if you are buying them new you could get spring rates to match the weight of the speed 3.
Many people run first gen BC's on the speed and non speed at the same rates.
