Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has pics, of a clear bra installed on a velocity red mica Speed 3. Essentially I was wondering if the line on the hood is obvious or not.
From some pics I've seen, it is quite obvious on white, and I have seen it on other colours where the line is obvious, but on the other hand it saves the hood from chips.
To those who have had it done, would you suggest paying extra for the whole hood or is that overkill.
Any information that you may have would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
The line is going to be fairly easy to see no matter what colour...except maybe black? That said, do you know how obvious those stone chips look? I'd get the bra.

A lot of times you can see the line more because dirt gets built up on it. If you clean it right where the clear bra ends/meets the hood once in a while, specifically in that area, it will help.
You ultimately will see the line though no matter what. IMO I think doing the entire hood would look best and give you the most protection. If you don't mind paying the extra $, I would do it.

Doing the entire hood would be REALLY expensive... ha ha. But a clear bra is def great protection for stone chips.
IMO, they should make clear bras for women.

Ive got the clear bra on my car, and the line in definietly noticeable but after a while I got use to it and now it doesnt bother me. As for doing the entire hood I like that would be overkill.

I have a clear bra on my black MS3 and it's noticable but you do get used to it and I'd rather it then a ton of rock chips.

Thanks for all the replies. I definitely see the benefits of getting the film. I was hoping to take advantage of the MofC promo, but that apparently doesn't apply to the Speed, so I think I'll take my time and research the best film and installer. Has anyone used a sponsor to intall the film, and if so how was their experience.
Thanks again
its not VRM but close
