I think I shorted the cigarette lighter and now there is no power to it. I checked the fuse under the hood and it didn't look like anything was burnt. Is there another fuse box? Can anyone shed some light on this before I tear apart the console and replace it?

There's another fuse box on the driver's side, left of the steering wheel, gotta open the door though.
There's another location that might be for 1st gens, its near the glove department

CT has the mini fuses. You just have to look.

I spend almost half an hour looking and ask store clerk to help me find it but he told me he never seen that kind of mini fuse... Maybe I have to go to the dealer and buy it from them.

There are always the sections with tons of fuses. Sometimes they are separate from the rest of the automotive section. I would definitely go to a different one. Can you take a pic of the fuse?

Yep, typical mini-fuse (low-profile)

I know I have seen them before but you'll have to just look harder since it seems some employees don't know what they are doing. Unless of course they are out of them.

CT has them for sure. I just bought them about a month ago for my cig lighter.
They should have 4amp to 40amp plus they have multipacks with a variety of them.

Thanks for the help guys but can't find it at CT stores near me. So I bought the regular mini fuse last week end and it works just fine but the head sticking out a bit...
