Massive Accident McCowan & Hwy 7

So there's a massive accident at McCowan and Hwy 7. Must have happened around 1:30 or 2pm today. All I saw when I went to get coffee from Tims was a destroyed EMS SUV and a large freight truck in the middle of the intersection. CP24 was there but there's nothing on tv.
My mother passed it just after it happened and said it looked like there were two big rigs involved, small cars and maybe pedestrians.

Anyone know what happened?

EMS vehicle involved in Markham crash

UPDATE: Two people have been transported to hospital after an Emergency Medical Services vehicle collided with a tractor trailer in Markham Thursday afternoon.

York police said the collision occurred at Highway 7 and McCowan Road around 2 p.m.

Police said that the injuries to the drivers of both vehicles are non-life-threatening.

No other passengers were in either vehicle.

Police are currently investigating the incident.

Yeah i was heading that way towards the mall to go to the gym, but i went around through south unionville to avoid all the traffic.
