NHL 12. I'm psyched. The social killer lol

So I checked on the new updates on nhl12

Here are some of the features:

Winter classic. (playable as pens vs bruins, or any two teams)
Legends. (Borje Salming, Patrick Roy, Steve yzeman, Jeremy Roenick, and by the looks of it Bobby Orr)
Anticipation AI. (AI actually does what the real players do so theirs more challenging game plays)
Dynamic Goalies! Best option. You can check the goalies, goalies can hit you and fight


I will be staying home once this game hits shelves! Lol

I have been wishing that for years since they took out the random ones in NHL9X. Now there is something to look forward to in life again :D

Like not stupid over the top blood - but if theirs a high stick id like to see the ref skate over and check the player holding his face and find his lip bloodied if it was a bad high stick. I don't think they need zednik blood lol

I remember a loooong time ago on SNES, there was an NHL game where you could stick anyone in the goalie position - I forgot I had stuck Tie Domi in goal for the longest time and kept wondering why almost every shot went in :chuckle

Well the demo came out today, I downloaded it for my xbox and Im not impressed lol. Doesn't feel any different, doesn't look any different. It seems you can only run the goalies after the whistle has blown...which defeats the purpose of having the ability to run the goalies lol. I guess Ill have to keep playing it. Get the demo and lets hear what you guys think.

First impressions. You can't cheat. You are losing you can't have the option to rematch
Goalies are interactive you check goalie players will come to the rescue. Rosters up to date.
Players have better chances to score or areas to score. They play their positions


One thing I noticed.... Where are the sponsorships on the boards? All I see is NHL 12 but on the cover art and scenes it has the sponsorship???

some arenas don't have the sponsored boards i guess. i'm playing at the energy centre and the boards have bauer, easton, reebok, CCM, Honda, Verizon. i guess it varies lol

Grabbed this late last night on a random trip to WalMart.

Got home and cracked it open. Didn't even read the instructions or nothing (just eagerly pressed X throughout the selections)

I thought I was doing super-wicked until I realized I wasn't even playing LMFAO!!! I didn't select a team and it was playing in CPU mode.

But now that that's sorted out - I totally need to practice! But this game is awesome! I haven't been this hooked on a game for a while.
