As for "1-series M" vs. "M1", while I understand that the proper name is the former, you have to admit it's kind of stupid for BMW to break their own nomenclature rules simply to preserve the memory of a sports car that's been gone for 30 years now. It's not as though if they named the new vehicle "M1" (in keeping with their current line-up) anyone would confuse it with the 1978-81 M1.

Well it's a concept that is inspired by the original M1. Those wheels are modeled after the old M1's wheels. See my first post in this thread for the original.

ok.. so now I know that there are at least 2 sets of these horrible cheese grater rims in the world. it changes nothing as to how hideous they are, it would be Akin to redesigning a new horrible car and saying .. " wait, wait people.. its ok, as we just modeled it after the original Pontiac Aztek "

btw.. the Aztek was the only car that made me actually want to look away whenever i spotted one. It was almost as if they had 2 different teams of designers design the Back and Front Ends.. and then just F**king welded them together.

Oh thats a spoiler, I thought it was just a mega boomerang on the slr. There is nothing I like about that slr.
and on the BMW it doesnt even look like a spoiler, is it screwed into the windshield? Looks like a bathroom sink.

thinking about wrapping my car in baby blue Velvet ( cant afford Suede ) or maybe a green felt, and i could Poker theme it, dont worry guys.. I'll scotch guard it against stains. And for a spolier i'm going to use an entire park bench, I will also use garbage can lids for Rims.
