Importfest 2011 was held at the MTCC in Toronto once again this year. This event is starting to expand, having two shows this year. The second event will be on October 1st in Montreal! I was there this year expecting a lot of the same cars as last year, but I was wrong. I must have missed the announcements because the acurabot from back in the day was at the show! Sic Ryde brought out a few really crazy done up high end cars as well as NextMod.
A lot of spectators were also walking around with lips and accessories that vendors had for a discounted price. As with every other year, the lights go down at around 7pm which gives a different atmosphere. And there were the girls. Everyone had models representing and some even competing on stage throughout the day. Amy Fay was the feature model for Importfest this year, and many lined up just have her autograph, others stood by and took photos.
As the event near its end, a crowd started to grow near the stage for the awards, and a lot of awards were given out. Some teams ended up with rows and rows of trophies! Congratulations to the winners and can't wait to see the Montreal Importfest 2011! Hopefully I will be able to make it!
