Hey all - Just picked up a new phone - so my Iphone dock no longer works.

GOing to be buying a mount for it with aux port in the back, however, Need to Mount it.

Generally, I HATE SUCTION CUPS.

(yes caps) So, anyone have a good idea where to mount a phone so I'll still be easily able to use its touchscreen, as well as see everything on it at all times?

If you have pictures - it'd be awesome.

Unfortunately I am back to using a suction cup one. I had a holder that clipped on to the vents but it kept falling off with the weight of the phone. Majority of the suction cup ones now come with the adhesive tape so you can stick the holder somewhere.

I'm using ProClip in mine.

Paired it with an adjustable mount.

Pricey but looks professional and clean.

I'm using the air vent clip on my Gen2 only thing it block the airflow but I use the 2nd middle air vent for me mostly in the summer for A/C. Picked my up at radio shack for $12.99 on sale comes with suction mount or vent holds the iPhone sideways or dash-hawk. Great deal no problems.

Check out the brand name Arkon. I have the cig. lighter with micro USB charger. Looks similar to "Default User"'s. Mine is fully adjustable, swivel, tilt, turn, rotate. Check out the site to see if they have what you want, then search for it on ebay, it's cheaper :)

Sorry to revive dead thread - The phone is Samsung galaxy S2. Girlfriend got me a mount from radio... "the source" and its a vent clip. It works... OK. I just don't like having two wires all the time ( USB charging and Aux Cable. I routed it under the console to the cigarette tray under the HVAC controls, but I think I might try and figure out a more stealthy way to get it all the way, and maybe even come out FROm the vent. I miss the hot air on my right hand when driving in the winter though!
