Would it be a good idea to get one? Will it harm my car? I'm looking to make my car more responsive throttle wise. What are your opinions on chipping my car?

They don't work on the Mazda3. Been covered many times.

Really? I thought a saw a site saying they do but you would know better so I believe you. Any ways to improve throttle response though?

People say grounding the throttle body helps.

But ya chips do not work

Get a SRI, do the throttle body ground and get a rear motor mount...those are all relatively cheap (about $300-400) and will make a pretty significant difference in the way your car responds.

If you want to go further, lightweight flywheel, lightweight pullies, and balance shaft delete.

What do you mean by grounding the throttle body?

Search for it.

Basically connect a 4 to 8 gauge wire from your throttle body to the negative terminal on the battery.

IIRC, it's only the 04 and 05's that benefit from TB Ground. The 06+ are grounded from the factory.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

You're wrong, they are all technically grounded via the engine block but there's no heavy gauge ground back to the battery for any of the model years.

I definitely remember reading somewhere that it's the 04 and 05's that specifically had a poor ground on the TB. I'm sure all other years benefit too.

As simple as attaching the Negative battery terminal to the throttle body with a 4 guage wire?

Ignition timing mod can also be done for better response

Really? I thought a saw a site saying they do...? LOL oh man.... if you were trying to sell a bogus product to scam people, dont you think you would put fake reviews up? Usually these reviews will claim ridiculous things like +50HP!! ++++MPG!!! (just check ebay for example) Blows my mind that people believe that stuff.
