Wow!

Looks like UFC used Overeem's excuse of being injured and couldn't continue to fight in the Strikeforce Heavyweight tournament so that they could release him and get him out of his Strikeforce contract.

Overeem's first fight in the UFC will be on Dec. 30, 2011 in Las Vegas against Brock Lesnar and it will be 5 rounds. UFC will now do 5 round bouts for non title main event matches but I seriously doubt it will get close to 5 rounds.

My prediction - Overeem by ground and pound in the 2nd round with Brock Lesnar all turtled up.

That's gonna be a lot of muscle in one ring at the same time.. i predict overeem will almost win when out of the far entrance Goldberg will run to the cage just as Herb Dean is about to stop the fight due to Brock not being a real Mixed martial artist and he will spear Reem, but the ref wont see it as he will be paying attention to some other comotion going on ringside and then brock punches him once in the massive neck and is declared the winner.

it can happen.

Hahahaha...yes, that could be a possible scenerio as well! I wonder if Stone Cold or the Undertaker will have any part in this as well.

Oh, the winner of this match is supposed to get first crack at the heavyweight title against the winner of Cain Velasquez vs Junior Dos Santos in the new year.

Hahaha...no, I don't think Brock is all natural either but Overeem has transformed big time in as little as 5 years. If you followed Overeem when he was fighting in Pride, he was a tall, lanky 205lbs middleweight and now, he's a 265 thick beast. He attributes that to eating horse me. Hahahaha....

For sure... if he was just eating like a horse he would be 225-230 and thats pushing it... the roids gets him that extra 30 pounds.

But if u look at it this way...Brock was huge massive when he showed up on WWE so no doubt he was on roids for sure...compare to his body now..he went way smaller than his body was before...bcuz remember he tried on going to professional football so he had to obviously stop on the juice...then went to MMA just natural workout and training..so thats how his body suppose to look like without no roidzzz

Yup, he's massive now. If you look at Boostin's pics, you can see the difference. Still, he's a real good kickboxer & he's the current K1 champ and with his size now, you know a knockout will come anytime (although he looked bad in his last fight with Werdum) and that's why I like to watch his fights.

No, not 5 rounds for all the fights. Only the main event fight (non title ones) will be 5 rounds.
