Nope! Nick Diaz has been replaced by Carlos Condit now after Nick was a no show at 2 schedule press conferences.

Sucks as I really wanted to see that one but Carlos Condit should be a really fight as well.

Speed wise he will win against rampage for sure...but power wise? Just dont let Rampage get him with a Power Punch ...as for ground and pound..i think Rampage still have the advantage

did GSP fight Anderson DaSilva yet?

did GSP fight Anderson DaSilva yet?

No not yet...its one of those fights like (Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather) a fight that everyone wants to see but its like a history in the making...

GSP and Anderson are in 2 different weight class...so if ever theyre going to fight Anderson needs to go down or GSP needs to go up a class...

Ok.. so first things first.. i just dont see Bones loosing this fight.. stand up his ridiculous 84.5 inch reach is just too much to effectively get inside for a dirty boxing fight which is where Rampage would have a good chance.. taking him down? who has ? no one has, Hamill and Matyushenko are both great wrestlers and they got man handled.. so my heart is with Rampage ( i used to be a huge Pride fan ) but my money is on Jones.

as for Nick diaz he is a great fighter and thats it though, he is an unprofessional and childish, these press conferences that he reffered to as " beauty Pageants" are part of his contractual obligations! as Chuck Lidell put it " the actual fighting is the fun part , the rest is the business " and when all Nick Diaz will do is fight, sorry thats not enough.

Anderson vs St Pierre, i want to watch this as much as the next guy but its gonna be reallly tough for this to happen, a lot of people dont realize the size difference in these guys.. GSP walks around like at 190, and Silva walks around like at 225. Silva is not a natural Middleweight. and Gsp would have to pack on some muscle to be 185. that being said.. Gsp really does have the skill set that gives Silva problems, good wrestler with explosive take downs.. he wouldnt get caught like Sonnen either, he has fought some world class Ju Jitsu guys ( BJ penn for one ) and none have come close to a sub. but if it does go down.. it would have to more than likely be at catch weight.

those are my 2 cents.

Jones will beat down Rampage... and GSP will win... probably by decision again... :complain

I like Rampage and I think he has good power as well but I think Jones will be too much for Rampage. He'll have a hard time dealing with Jones' long reach and Jones does have some serious skills. Jones is the new breed and I think he'll keep his belt for a while.

Nick Diaz is super cocky but he's fun as hell to watch! Loved his fight with Cyborg! That fight had me on the edge of my seat! Hopefully this fight with GSP will still happen after the Condit fight.

I think it's a bad for GSP to go against Silva. As Soulsofmischief said, Anderson walks around easily over 215lbs while GSP walks around about 190lbs. If they ever do meet, I think GSP will get dominated. Don't get me wrong, I want to see it too but I seriously doubt it will happen. I rather see Anderson Silva VS Jon Jones instead. That makes more sense to me.

If GSP wants to fight a middleweight, I rather see him fight Cung Le. Although he not that well known to the casual fight fans, I think that would be a very entertaining fight.

Yeah, so back to GSP vs Condit. This should be a good fight as well considering Condit was the last WEC welterweight champ until WEC merged with UFC. Condit has also some impressive wins in his last 4 fights. He beat Ellenbergerger by decsion, stopped Rory MacDonald, KO'd Dan Hardy in the first round (while it took GSP 5 rounds to beat Hardy by decision) and stopped Kim in his last fight. Regardless, I still see GSP winning this by decision again.

Hmmmmmm....ever since BJ Penn accused GSP of greasing in early 2009, his next 4 bouts have all gone to 5 round decisions. Anyway, that's another thread. :-)

ahhh.. i can't see a GSP - Cung Le fight ending any different then the GSP - Alves fight any time Le would load up for anything.. shoot and on his back, ironically Diaz really is in my opinion the most dangerous opponent for GSP too bad he has the mentality of a 9 year old rebellious kid.

Silva.... i want to see him fight Hector Lombard.. that i think would be an interesting fight.

Now it's Diaz VS P.J. Penn in UFC 137. Originally, Penn was supposed to fight Condit but now that Condit replaced Diaz, Penn didn't have a fight so Dana found a new opponent in Diaz.

Weird cause Dana was all pissed off about Diaz and said he can't trust this kid anymore and then this. Let's see if Diaz actually shows up for the fight. Hahaha.

Cung Le has very good stand up and he has amazing take downs and defense. He's a world class Sanda fighter and former wrestler so it would be a fun fight to watch. He hasn't been tested much on the ground and I thought it was too early when he fought Frank Shamrock for the middleweight Strikeforce title in 2008 but he ended up winning that fight and broke Shamrock's arm as well.

Silva vs Lombard would be an interesting fight but I think Silva will win by KO. Lombard looks impressive but again, the more well known opponents seem to only be Joe Doerksen and Gegard Mousasi who he lost to in 2006. Still, it would be more interesting to see some new middleweight blood in the UFC since Anderson has basically cleaned house.

i know what you're saying but even if he is a former wrestler.. it doesnt matter, Koscheck, Fitch, Hughes ( not including the first fight ).. they all couldnt out wrestle ST Pierre, in fact only koscheck really got anything going in a takedown sense.. he is just too athletic. i dont see cung le going in there and suddenly stopping GSP's takedowns. but hey thats my opinion..

and the Lombard comment comes in as a " WHO ELSE? " i mean really there is no one else.. i think if Lombard Judos his way into a 24 fight win streak.. Cans or Not, why not throw him a bone?

Yup...I'm not saying Cung Le would beat GSP. I'm just saying it would be a good entertaining fight for me to watch if it happened. Yes, I know GSP is super athletic. My buddy sparred with him a few times when he was in Toronto and let's just say my buddy didn't get hurt because GSP took it easy on him.

I agree with you on Lombard but since he's the current Bellator middleweight champ, he would have to give up his title and it also depends on how much longer he has on his contract. But then again, if the UFC really wanted him, they could simply buy out Bellator just like they did with Pride and Strikforce....hahahah...I also think Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza (current Strikeforce Middleweight champ) would be a nice fight for Anderson as well.

Cung is apparently being set up for a fight with belfort, kicker vs puncher.. As for silva vs ??? I would like to see him and bones fight. Both unpredictable both amazing athletes and both explosive.. As for Diaz I would rather seen him face gsp... Anyone have any predictions on the main card for toronto?

Nice! I hope it actually happens as that's going to be a nice stand up war!

I think they are setting Silva up to fight the winner or Chael Sonnen vs Brian Stann next.

As for the Toronto main card, I don't think they will have any title fights as most of them are scheduled after Toronto. I know Mir vs Nogueira 2 is happening in Toronto but I'm not sure if that will be the main card. I like this fight too but hopefully, they will have a bigger main card for Toronto.

Mir looks like a beast! Vegetarian now and training hard, let's hope he puts on a better show then vs big country. Speaking of Diaz anyone remember that fight where Diaz was on a stretcher with an IV and he rips them off to go beat up on buddy in another stretcher ?? lol like boss..

I got the chance to meet The diaz brothers when I was living in Stockton a couple of winters ago, and as you can see on T.V. they are completly nuts. Im not a big UFC fan but I can tell you this Nick Diaz was big on GSP then. I cant remember words exactly however I remember my buddy who loves UFC trying to tell Diaz that GSP was too much for him (Diaz) saying he would love to fight him (GSP) one day. I can remember this because I was scared shitless that Diaz was gunna get pissed at my buddy for telling him that he could be beat :S. Anyways shitty to hear that the fight wont happen, Just thought I would share a little.

Hahahaha...yeah, I remember that. He attached Joe "Diesel" Riggs in the hospital after their match back in 2006. Classic!

Yup! Lots of people think Nick Diaz is nuts & unstable! Not sure if his regular marijuana use has anything to do with it though....hahahaha.

Here is an interview that Nick Diaz did and he sure does sound screwed up. Also, it seemed like he wanted a way out of the GSP fight?

"Diaz says to Fighters Only magazine, which goes on sale in the US in a fortnight: “If you look at my life over a long term period I couldn’t give a s**t. I honestly don’t know, if I got locked up right now, I don’t know if I’d want to come back. I’m coming in here every day, going, ‘Why the f**k am I doing this right now?’ I could be, like, f**k this whole thing.”

He also states: “Anything is better than what I have been going through. Maybe it’d be better to be locked up in prison. I’ve been trapped in this prison, and after every fight there is another… See, you don’t understand. When you get outta jail, that’s what it is… If I fight the fight, I win. I get out, I get off a little while and then get locked back up…”

And in his final statement in the magazine interview he perhaps gave us the clearest indication yet that his mind was not right to face GSP, stating: “Am I looking forward to the fight? No. If I fight, I lose, no matter what, win or lose. If I fight. Period. I don’t look forward to anything like that. I look past that, like, ‘Holy s**t… if I win this s**t I’m f**king stuck in this game.”
