for sure! I've been to a game in Spain ( Atletico Vs Real Betis ) and it was just insane, the atmosphere here is good at BMO but not close to a game in Europe or South America, who do you support in Portugal ? one of the big 3? ( Benfica, Porto, Sporting )? or a smaller club?

Arsenal are a good team but its going to be a rough year for them, not a whole of confidence, losing Cesc, Nasri, and Clichy will hurt em. Arteta is a good pick up, and Gervinho is decent. I predict top 10 at best. probably 7 to 9th.

Here in North America we're naturally drawn to complicated sports that cost a lot to play and require tons of specialized equipment

grrrr didnt finish that and, of course, cant delete...should have said:

I did actually play it for like 5yrs as a kid, until I got hard into mountain biking, snowboarding, trampoline and football. Soccer just seemed a bit too slow and low scoring. That being said, I know there are a lot of soccer fans in the GTA...a few of my friends wont shut up about it

I grew up playng Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, and Football. So i was drawn to all kinds of sports. I find however that few sports can drum up the passion that soccer does for the fans.. some teams,, (Atletico Madrid, Schalke 04 are two i can think of) will even sell you a space in their In stadium Mausoleum.

I'm a big England supporter when it comes to World & Euro's.... as for club Wolverhampton Wolves..... not the greatest team in the EPL but are fun to watch. As for Barcelona, I've never seen prettier football then what they display (what other team makes 40 passes in a row within a 10yrd radius) :drool. This FCB team may even be the greatest team of all time.

Yeah i had a buddy of mine from Jolly good England who was a huge Wolves fan in College lol. they are not too bad, England cant get much going right now.. I think the need new blood in there. hopefully Wilshere and Welbeck, Sturridge.. etc.. will breathe some life into them.
I'm a Spain fan internationally and have been very happy the last few years minus the run of friendlies since 2010 WC however.. as much as id like to see them win the next euro and defend.. i dont see it happening. I see a Germany vs Holland final with Germany taking it.
Barca what can i say.. its a good time to be an FCB fan.. This year is going to be really really tough to win the league.. Real is gaining ground ( F'n Pricks!! lol ) Best of all time is a big title to have i do believe I personally have never seen more attacking and just overall domination from a team in my own time, but who am i to argue with the prior generations.. ( my dad tells me that Brazil 1970 were better )

I remember that night I was there actually watching 11 v 12. Yes I said 12 because i'm sure the ref that night was wearing a yellow jersey ;)
City look like the team to beat this year but like last year we started well and faded. So it will be a long season. Big game this saturday.
