Terrorist threats planned for 10th Anniversary of 9/11

It was expected - but now the reality is amongst us. With the 10th Anniversary of 9-11 around the corner, there has been reports of a reliable source of a planned terrorist attack on New York and Washington

This is scary as shit, as a lot of us have family that can be directly affected. Our home town could just as well be a target.

if it was not for fear.. there would be no control. same purpose for 9/11. if they did not "show" an attack that was never coming how would the government ever control and have the people do what they want, how would they have a purpose to go into iraq, or increase costs and tax and so on and so on. if it was not for controlled attacks they couldnt get away with anything.

there really is not much you can do, unless you do exactly as the british sign says then terrorism has served its purpose.. I can control a lot of stuff in my life and it f**king stresses me out! i cant imagine starting to stress over the stuff i can't control? dont get me wrong im cautious, I wouldnt take a leisurely stroll through south central los angeles at 2:00 am. But i cant be concerned with not going to public places and hermitting myself in my home ( although C.O.D does present a very strong argument for that ! )

The 'Patriot Act' that soon followed 9-11 was very close to the 'Enabling act' of 1933 that Hitler introduced to Germany after the arson attack on the Reichstag (German parliament). Which is now believed that the Nazi party started but blamed the Communists. Sounds a little familiar.... just saying
