The wife and I are picking up a 2011 3 Sport GS w/ moonroof and auto next week. It's black.

I used to have a Protege MP3 and was active in the TOP community (yoshitu) so I'll try to bring the 3 out to a meet sometime.

We were considering a few other vehicles as well;

Thanks all. This is going to be my wife's first new car ever. She has owned her first car, a 1991 Sentra, since she was 17; over 12 years!

Congrats! Interestingly though, the other cars you've considered are NOT at all in the same class as Mazda 3 though. What was the final deal-breaker for you? Price, it seems?
