Nice find.. I guess it only works during the day, but for people living in such conditions, this is a godsend. I applaud whoever invented this.. It could also be another idea that can be implemented even here in the west. I mean, it's just bleach and filtered water, with a little help from the sun. :)

Or maybe, make it "Dalawang Litrong Liwanag." (translates to 2 litres of brightness) :) :thumbsup

This is a great idea.

One problem I can see here in that the drink makers are starting to use bio or plant-based bottles.

Will these new bottles stand up to sun's ray or will they break down much faster?

I guess in any case, the new bottles could be used for some time. They would need to be replaced.

Haha yeah, but come on, if people can create glow in the dark stuff, why not extend it to this bottle idea.. Electricity is one of the most expensive utility in the Philippines. With this idea, combined with perhaps "glow in the darks" people in the less fortunate areas won't have to worry about total darkness in the evening.

Anyway, it's just an idea that I thought about. :)
