Just once a year on a sunday, Nextmod hosts a beautiful BBQ for the tuners of Toronto. This year, 2011, was the biggest event yet. Arriving at exactly noon, I found not just the parking lot, but the plaza was packed. So much that cars were double parked and hidden behind the loading area all the way down to the end. The free BBQ and cotton candy machine were already running and had some people starting to lineup. DJ Woo once again played some good tunes for the crowd while Chefs were busy working the BBQ. The plaza got so packed at one point, cars were asked to move since they were parked on a fire route or blocking traffic going in and out of the plaza.

Many kids got to walk around the plaza with their tuner daddy and mommy with cotton candy in hand while others brought along their dogs. There were so much attention, random aunties and uncles started lining up for the BBQ and stopping on Yorktech dr to see whats up!

Looked like a blast. I will definitely show up next year. My car should be done by then, hope to see it in one of the these photos next year.

^ Your car doesn't have to be "done" to show up. This is a bbq that nextmod holds every year to celebrate the anniversary of their business and to thank all their customers.

I have been the one last year but my car looks so bad compared to the nicely modified ones. And I want someone to take a picture of my car lol next year I WILL end up in at least one photo! lol Just need to lower my car, tint my windows, and add a sticker or 2 somewhere lol.

Doesn't matter, it's not a competition. Come as you are. It's about the people and well, nextmod lol. That and free food and drinks lol. :)
There were KIA Soul's there. KIA SOULS MAN!! lol
Plus lots of stock cars too. Don't be so shy! :)

lol I dont see it as a competition just I dont like seeing my car un-finished and not lowered specially when you see all lowered cars around mine. Just somewhat embarrassed that its not lowered lol. But ya, i am a shy kinda person.

Lol, it's all good friend. Lots of cars there were not lowered, nothing to be ashamed of :)
I'll let you in on a little secret: a lot of the cars you see in those pictures are unfinished too ;) (they just might be further along than you cuz they started before you. ;))

which car was yours? did you even come and talk to the tm3ers? dont worry bout that kinda bs. there is always a more modified car out there. no one cares, and those who do, no one listens too.:D

I went to the 2010 BBQ. Once I lower my car, it'll be more or less showcase-able (thats probably not a word lol) But ya, I will come next year.
