I didn't think it was socially acceptable for people over the age of 13 to play dodgeball. We should totally get a game going!

i actually know a place we could play dodgeball, im wondering if having a tourney would be in any way possible, maybe even between the forums for real? if we set it up like a sunday afternoon in the fall or early winter we could ask sponsors for some swag or help to organize the first annual TM3 Dodgeball tournament?

how feasible would that be or just pipe dream?

ok, I guess i will have to make some calls tomorrow and find out what this would entail, i know this place has all the equipment necessary, and i know its not terribly expensive to rent so im sure the costs on the participants would be minimal so i guess ill keep you all informed.

Ami, to make this a TM3 event I would assume i need some sort of permission to do so from the Moderators? forgive my ignorance I just want to make sure the Forum is represented well.

it's just that the ball is so light and you want to whip it so hard! Apparently, talking to a friend that works at the imagery dept in a hospital... it's common to see relatively big guys come in with shoulder/arm injuries as a result of dodgeball. People don't warm up or train that particular muscle group and as a result injure themselves relatively fast.

Needless to say, alot of my other sports suffered and as a result I don't play dodgeball anymore. Too much temptation.
