My mazda keeps dying..last Feb I went away for 10 days..car was dead when I came back. Got a new battery at Mazda. I went away for 2 wks in Aug and the car died again. Mazda checked it out everything is ok..battery and alternator is good. Got home and in 3 days it died. Because I live in Canmore this time I took it to Ford...they have been working on it on and off to find the problem. Battery, alternator are good. Pulled about 3 fuses out and did other stuff and after charging the battery again..next morning it still died.

I need anyone's info on this..costing me $135/hr so far 5hrs I have to pay :bangand still going..

Is there something with the 3s that gets shorted out...

In advance thank you for the info and sorry if this was covered in another area.

you should take a look at the MAF wiring harness.
Right at the connector where it hits the sensor - one of the wires may have been pulled or stretched.

this is what happened to mine

Also have them inspect the starter harness. It could be rusted and not making proper contact. There's a fix for it.

First off did they put a meter on it to see if there is excessive draw?
Then start pulling fuses until the excess draw is gone, You now have the specific circuit to look at.
Dealers should have the electrical manuals, that probably show how to do this, They should probably read them.

wow, they aren't very good shop if it already took them 5 hours. Maybe it would be better to go to Mazda as they are more familiar with your car?
